Back from my Holiday vacation!

I had Friday through Monday off this extended weekend.

Saturday night the cops found some kid getting high in my backyard and woke me up to ask me if I knew him.  No guys I don't, why would I? He was crushing up some orange pill.  I found that out as they didn't really investigate why he was in my backyard.  OK, weird shit is weird.

Easter Sunday I make a great turkey, mashed potato, stuffing, corn, homemade gravy and have a great day with friends and family.

Monday is cool, one more day to relax and enjoy the end of my extended weekend.

Tuesday the garbage man hit's an electric line that was dropped down from all the rain we have been having in the Chicago area and I loose power at the house.  Well, what are you going to do? I'll go to work and it will be on by the time I get home.  Boom!  Lightening strikes my job and takes out the security system, so I have to get that fixed.  It all worked out and I have to say I haven't been bored.

Let me know if any of you in the midwest have any cool storm stories.  Check out the cool lightening video as well.

I'm back in action guys, just had to do the holiday break and I will be checking out all of my friends blogs.  I can't wait.

  1. I've been getting storms here in Kentucky too. Nothing interesting though, they just come and go. My dogs freak out every time though!
