My thoughts on Facebook.

It's one of those Lazy Sundays.

There's been talk about rain for the weekend but so far, sunny skies and low 80's with a slight wind.  Perfect!

That aside I want to talk a bit about Facebook.

I think my first experience with Facebook was about two years ago when a friend of mine sent me an E-mail that was viewable via a Facebook sign up.  Great job by the way.  My nostalgia kicked in and of course I agreed.

So now I'm in, time to friend..  Oh yeah I remember that dude, -friend-, talked to her once I think, -friend-, and then of course there are the people you see everyday, yep, friend them.

OK there might actually be people on here who I used to hang out with and kind of lost touch..  For me this is why I'm still on Facebook. I really don't give a fuck that you just got up and had coffee, but it's cool when a random old friend posts something like this..

    facebook is not that good anymore, it's all about myspace! myspace has made a comeback! their muisc section is great! love it!

    Ehh, not really a huge fan of facebook, myspace or anything else like that. For old friends, though, I think it DOES work well - and occasionally you do get great stuff like that video. Maybe I'll make one after all...

    Lol, I had one friend invite me to facebook a long time ago also, and I still remember them.. now he's trying to get me to sign up on tumblr, fuck that ish! I'll stick to this blog, it's much better :) ;p

    I hear you. I have plenty of "friends" on facebook who I simply do not care about. Read about the monkeysphere, I think it explains perfectly about my relation to some of my facebook friends.

    I'm often in touch with friends on Facebook, it's not my favorite way to communicate but almost everyone has an account

    I agree some status's are so pointless but i use the site to contact friends mostly, althought i do sit on it for too long sometimes..

    Lol. I have ~160friends on fb. I see maybe 3-4 of them every few months. The rest of them I haven't seen in ages.

    I just let people add me on facebook and I do the accepting. You find out who your real friends are that way.
